Mahindra Unveils Their Concept ‘Pik Up’ Based On The Scorpio N SUV

In Cape Town, South Africa, Mahindra has revealed its new pickup truck concept. This pickup concept is based on Mahindra’s own Scorpio N SUV. This concept vehicle is named the ‘Global Pik Up’.

This pickup’s similarity to the Scorpio N is evident with the headlights, bonnet, fenders, and front doors. The bumper has a massive bash plate, the tow hooks are located at the lower end and there is a popped-out grille above the bash plate.

There is a snorkel for water wading capability and at the front, there is a roof rack with a wide LED light bar at the front. The similarity to Scorpio N is evident in the profile too. The lower edges of the doors are adorned with cladding.

The rear side of this vehicle has a conventional pickup design with rectangular and edgy elements, a lower bumper, an upright tailgate, and sleek vertical LED tail lights. Two spare tires are present on the bed.

The specifications of this vehicle aren’t completely shared by Mahindra but, they have said that this vehicle will get 5G connectivity and a single-pane sunroof. For safety, it comes with all-around airbag protection and some features of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) with driver drowsiness detection.

Mahindra also didn’t reveal the proper timelines for the global launch of this vehicle, but they did say that the launch in India will happen. Other than India, Africa, Australia, ASEAN, and Latin American countries are the targeted markets by Mahindra for this vehicle. The launch of this vehicle is not expected to happen before 2026.
