Auto Mode – Auto mode has the default system of the 2-wheel drive (front wheels), but if the front wheels start slipping, the power is automatically sent to the rear wheels via an electronic coupling. When the front wheels have grip again, the system is back on 2WD.
Maruti Suzuki mentioned that the auto mode can detect the front wheel slippage depending on the various conditions of the front wheel like road surface, throttle position, and steering angle, and sends the power to the rear wheels, hence improving the drive stability.
Sports Mode – When in this mode, depending on the steering movements and throttle positions, the sensors send the power accordingly to the rear wheels and improve the driving condition and drifting ability, making it perfect for the sporty feel.
Snow Mode – As the name suggests, this mode is perfect for snowy surfaces or any other surface like snow. The system measures all the conditions carefully and sends the power to all the wheels making the drive as comfortable as possible. This mode is mainly 2WD, but according to the conditions, power can be handed over to the rear wheels.
Lock Mode – Lock mode sends the power to all 4 wheels in a ratio of 50:50 for the front and rear wheels. This mode is for the people who love to ride their vehicle on sandy, or muddy surface. Lock mode has a feature of brake locking via the ESP system, which can lock the steering wheel from spinning.
