Honda Activa has received various updates and other features at regular intervals along with special editions launching from time to time. Keeping up with this commitment Honda has once again come with a new launch in the market for the consumers.
Honda has announced the launch of the Activa 6G Smart key variant that benefits from keyless operations on January 23, 2023, at a price of Rs, 80,000 (ex-showroom) and is available in three variants with a brand new top-of-the-line model called “H- smart”. This new variant is best suited for those who face a higher risk of vehicle theft as they can significantly reduce the risk of theft with the Activa Smart variant.

The newly introduced H-Smart variant comes with a car-like Smart key that enables four new features – Smart Find, Smart unlock, Smart Safe, and Smart start.
How does the Smart Key Variant function?
- Smart Find works up to 10 meters and helps to find your scooter in a parking
- Smart unlock gives the ability to unlock the handle, seat and open the fuel lid
- Smart Safe ensures the key is operable within a range of 2 m, when the smart key goes away from this range Activa Smart will lock itself
- Smart Start turns the ignition on in the same radius
Specifications of Honda Activa Smart variant
Activa Smart is powered by a 109.51 cc motor that generates 7.85 PS of max power and 8.84 Nm of peak torque. It has an underdone frame with telescopic front forks and a 3-step adjustable spring-loaded hydraulic rear suspension. It has 12-inch front and 10-inch rear wheels with 130 mm drum brakes at both ends. Dynamically, it is 1833 mm long, 697 mm wide, 1156 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 1260 mm. Apart from these specifications the H- smart variant now gets alloy wheels and will be available in new colors. Scooter also benefits from an anti-theft function, enhancing the security of the vehicle.
The scooter will start arriving at the dealerships by end of January 2023.
