New Kia MVP, Carnival Limousine revealed, to be launched in India on October 3 2024

The latest developments in the automobile industry saw Kia revealing their upcoming Carnival Limousine. Kia India also took to the social media platform X and updated about the same. The launch of the Carnival Limousine for India is scheduled for 3rd October 2024. The Kia Carnival Limousine is expected to make its way to the Indian market in the budget range of Rs 50 lakh to Rs 60 lakh.

According to reports, the Carnival Limousine will be imported to India vide the CBU route, and local assembly will be carried out later.

Design: It is noticed that the overall look and feel of the Kia Carnival Limousine has design influences of the Kia EV9. Salient attractions include the likes of studded front grille, ice-cube lighting elements, and L-shaped sleek LED DRLs.

Top variants of the Carnival Limousine will feature large 19-inch alloy wheels. Along with it, the new Carnival Limousine features circular wheel arches, side cladding, shark fin antenna, and functional roof rails.

The rear and the front have similar lighting elements.

Coming to the dimensions of the Carnival Limousine, it stands at 1.77 meters in height, 5.15 meters in length, and 2.26 meters in width. The wheelbase is 3.09 meters. These massive features highlight the road presence of the car along with providing optimal space. The vehicle is incorporated with best-grade cargo and passenger space.

The MVP also features sliding rear doors. It will come in variants of both 7-seat and 8-seat.

The top variants will reportedly get dual sunroofs. This will ensure a 360-degree view even for the last row of passengers.

Interior: The interiors are laid with leather seats and leather-wrapped parts. Additionally, the seats are incorporated with heating and ventilation functions. They also feature power-adjustable options for both the driver and front passenger. Furthermore, the windshield and window glass are made with sound-absorbing materials. The MVP may provide a tranquil environment in its interior.

The interior further features dual 12.3-inch screens, which are dedicated to infotainment and instrument display. Some additional features include OTA updates, a Bose premium sound system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless phone charger, all-row USB ports, and a Wi-Fi hotspot. The MVP also includes tri-zone automatic climate control, voice recognition, smart key and push button start.

Safety Features: In terms of safety features, the vehicle is blessed with front, side, curtain, and driver’s knee airbags. Along with it, the MVP includes vehicle stability management, electronic stability control, rollover sensor, hill start to assist control, downhill brake control, and tyre pressure monitoring system. Last but not least various ADAS features are also available in the MVP.

Power Specifications: Coming to the power specifications of the MVP, the Indian market may get the 2.2-litre diesel engine. This holds the capability of providing 201 hp and 440 Nm. Additionally, it is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
