OLA Introduces its Latest Gen 3 Scooters in India: Fours Models, Pre-Orders From Today, Deliveries From Next Month

Four new scooter models have now been officially introduced by OLA in its Gen 3 line today for Indian customers as promised. The pre-orders for the latest scooters are starting from today and the deliveries are scheduled to happen from next month onwards.

OLA Gen 3 Scooter Line Introduced in India – ‘S1 X’, ‘S1 X+’, ‘S1 Pro’, & ‘S1 Pro+’ Models

As mentioned, four new scooter models have been introduced today in India as part of OLA’s latest Gen 3 line and these include the ‘S1 X’, ‘S1 X+’, ‘S1 Pro’, and ‘S1 Pro+’ models.

The ‘S1 X’ model has been unveiled with three variants – 2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh battery options, while the ‘S1 X+’ is only available in 4kWh battery option. The 2kWh, 3kWh, and 4kWh battery variants of the OLA ‘S1 X’ model are respectively priced at INR 79,999, INR 89,999, and INR 99,999. On the other hand, the OLA ‘S1 X+’ 4kWh model has a price tag of INR 1,07,999.

The ‘S1 Pro’ and ‘S1 Pro+’ models of OLA have two battery variants each. The ‘S1 Pro’ is available in 3kWh and 4kWh battery options priced at INR 1,14,999 and INR 1,34,999, whereas the ‘S1 Pro+’ comes in 4kWh and 5.3kWh battery options priced at INR 1,54,999 and INR 1,69,999, respectively.

The pre-bookings for these new Gen 3 OLA scooters are starting today on the 31st of January 2025 onwards, and the deliveries will commence from the mid-half of next month, in February 2025. [To add, the above are introductory prices and will only be valid for a week, till 6th February 2025.]

Speaking about the OLA Gen 3 scooter models, improved performance and efficiency, structurally integrated battery pack, mid-mounted motor with chain drive transmission, pre-lubricated O-rings in chain, brake-by-wire system. single-channel ABS (front) + dual-channel ABS (rear) for certain variants, and a simplified electronics package with one single board are revealed to be the key specifications.
