Mark, your calendars for April 11th as the highly anticipated release of the Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S E is right around the corner, accompanied by stunning images and detailed specifications of the brand new AMG.
The new AMG comes with a 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 hybrid engine. This is the first hybrid engine from AMG. The electric motor is at 204 horsepower and the battery pack is 6.1 kWh. The total power output is 843 horsepower and the total torque output is 1,470 Nm. This is the most powerful AMG yet.

For smoother electrical assistance, a 2-speed gearbox shifts into the second gear at 140 kmph. The new AMG takes only 2.9 seconds to get to 100 kmph from 0. In under 10 seconds, this AMG reaches from 0 to 200 kmph. The top speed is 316 kmph. This AMG has a 12 km of electric-only driving range.
The AMG GT 63 S E comes with a redesigned front bumper modeled after the two-door GT, new badging, new exhaust outlets, and a new alloy wheel design exclusive to the PHEV (plug-in hybrid electric vehicle). There is also an AMG-specific air suspension, rear-wheel steering, and carbon ceramic brakes. It also gets four levels of regenerative braking with one-pedal-driving capabilities in certain driving situations.
The entertainment system is included with two 12.4-inch screens and a digital instrument console, along with other interior features that are exclusive to AMG, like sports seats, and dual pane panoramic sunroof. Race, Electric, Slippery, and Comfort are the different driving settings included.
