Rivian introduces its all-electric Commercial Van; Deliveries begin in April

California-based automaker Rivian which builds all-electric vehicles has introduced its electric Commercial Van. The company has now officially that this electric van is now available for sale for all businesses small or large and the deliveries for this van will be from April.

Features

The commercial van has two variants- 500 series & 700 series. They are equipped with single motor front wheel drive, delivering 320hp and 299 lb-ft torque. Both EVs bring 100kW battery packs and support up to 100kW DC charging. The 500 series variant gets 161 miles of EPA range while the 700 series variant gets 160 miles of EPA range. The 500 variant is 248 inches long and offers a 6,837 lbs curb weight whereas the 700 variant is 278 inches long and has a 7,242 lbs curb weight.

The driver seat has a 6-way adjustment and 2-way lumbar support. It comes with 3 standard airbags, and Driver+ hardware with driving assist features like adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning speed limit information, lane keep assist, lane departure, and high beam assist. Other features include- a backup warning system, surround park assist, and bird eye surround camera.
