Royal Enfield 650cc test mule spotted for the first time
There have already been a lot of reports and rumors about the Royal Enfield Classic 650cc. Images have been hovering around it since the news came out and now it seems that its test mule has been spotted in South India. As of now Royal Enfield’s 650cc lineup currently includes three motorcycles Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650, and Super Meteor 650, and the Classic 650 is expected to join the clan by next year.
Design revealed
The rider in the video can be seen riding the bike in a relaxed position due to its middle set foot pegs and wide handlebar.
Its design resembles the Classic 350 and features a headlight nestled inside the nacelle, wire-spoke wheels, generous use of chrome all over, extended mudguards, teardrop style fuel tank, split seat, and round indicator.
Specifications
Test mule reveals the use of telescopic forks in place of upside-down fork units found in Super Meteor 650cc. A pair of rear shocks can also be seen. When it comes to break it is expected to come with Super Meteor 650’s 320mm and 300mm front and rear disc brakes respectively. It’s also expected to have a circular semi-digital instrument console.
Powertrain
It might come with the same 648cc air/oil-cooled, parallel-twin engine that boasts 47PS at 7,250 rpm and 52.3 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
