There isn’t much details available about the latest brand introduced by Sony and Honda but what is known is that the car will make interactive mobility a reality.

The car will use 40 sensors along with cameras, radar, ultrasonic sensors and lidar sensors, which will be embedded on the vehicle in its exterior. This will enhance the car’s ability to detect objects. According to the CEO of Sony Honda Mobility, Yasuhide Mizuno, the car is an embodiment of three themes – autonomy, augmentation and affinity.

The EV car is designed as a sedan. It has a light bar on the front with a closed off grille along with a high-gloss black roof. The vehicle also have black hubcaps and light accent above its wheel wells.

This design, however is similar to the concept(the Vision-S) introduced by Sony 3 years back. Some people also said that the vehicle looks a little similar to the Porsche 911 and the Lucid Air.

We can also expect many of Sony’s music and other entertainment features in the vehicle. However some of the features in the software will have to be subscribed, that is, the users will have to pay a certain amount of money to use some selected feature.

The car might also have a fully integrated PS5 system for gaming and entertainment. We should also note that Sony considers the EV cars as a platform to introduce its tech and entertainment products which indicates that we can expect more in the vehicle.

The upcoming AFEELA is going to be launched to compete with premium car makers like Mercedes-Benz, Volvo, BMW and Audi.

The AFEELA EV car will be manufactured in one of the twelve Honda manufacturing units in America and will be made available for purchase in 2026. It is also said that the pre-orders of the car will start in 2025.
