Take A Look At This Unofficial Render Design Of A Hot Hatch Version Of The Tata Punch

A render of a hot hatch version of Tata Punch is circulating around the internet. Pratyush Rout has made the render of the hot hatch version of Tata Punch.

A hot hatch is a high-performance hatchback car. The factory high-performance versions of hatchback cars have been produced since the 70s. The term ‘hot hatch’ originated in the mid-1980s.

Hot hatch models are popular overseas but are yet to make a proper entry to the Indian streets. The main reason for the delay is the high entry cost and also the popular attraction for SUVs.

This version which Pratyush Rout designed has a comprehensive range of changes to its design. In the design, the eye-seeker is an all-black colored shade with a matte finish.

The front fascia has almost been redesigned. The shape of the grille is unchanged but given a new piano-black treatment. Like the grille, LED headlamps and DRLs have been retained in their original format.

More structured layers and grooves have been included in this new design. Changes are evident in the fog lamp housing, front bumper, and side panels. The bonnet of the hot hatch is added with a scoop to improve the performance of the car.

The render of this car has a chiseled and aerodynamic profile with the side panels tucked in towards the bottom. This design has two doors and sleek rear-view mirrors with integrated turn signals.

The wheels of this render are 18 inches in diameter, whereas the Punch SUV comes with R16 alloy wheels. The rear of the new design is decorated with a sporty roof-mounted spoiler.

At the 2023 Auto Expo, a new 1.2-liter turbo petrol motor engine was unveiled. The Tata Punch-based hot hatch will be equipped with this engine. It generates 125 hp of peak power and 225Nm of maximum torque.
