Tata Launches New Curvv ICE in Petrol and Diesel Variants: Check Prices and Features Across Trims

Tata Motors launched the Curvv EV SUV Coupe in India, earlier in August. Now, in their latest developments, the company has launched the ICE version of Curvv in India. Bookings for the same commenced on 2nd September 2024 and deliveries will begin on 12 September 2024.

The TATA Curvv ICE is presented in both petrol and diesel engine options. The options are as follows: a 1.2L turbo-petrol, 1.2L GDi petrol, and 1.5L diesel engine.

The Curvv ICE petrol variants are priced at a starting price of about Rs 10 lakh (Ex-showroom), while the Curvv Diesel is priced from a starting price of about Rs 11.5 lakh (Ex-showroom).

The Curvv ICE is classified with 4 trim levels. These are the Smart, Pure, Creative, and Accomplished. In terms of colour palette, they are offering the options of Flame Red, Pristine White, Opera Blue, Pure Grey, Gold Essence, and Daytona Grey. Additionally, they also include a lot of accessories.

The Curvv ICE is furthermore divided into multiple engine option variants and trim levels. These options and their introductory prices (Ex-showroom) are as follows:

  • The Revotron Turbo Petrol MT is priced at Rs 9.99 lakh for the Smart trim, Rs 10.99 lakh for the Pure + trim, Rs 12.19 lakh for the Creative trim, Rs 12.69 lakh for the Creative S trim, Rs 13.69 lakh for the Creative + S trim and at Rs 14.69 lakh for the Accomplished S trim.
  • The Hyperion GDi MT is priced at Rs 13.99 lakh for the Creative trim, Rs 14.99 lakh for the Creative S trim, Rs 15.99 lakh for the Accomplished S trim, and Rs 17.49 lakh for the Accomplished + A trim.
  • The Kryojet Diesel MT is priced at Rs 11.49 lakh for the Smart trim, Rs 12.49 lakh for the Pure+ trim, Rs 13.69 lakh for the Creative trim, Rs 14.19 lakh for the Creative S trim, Rs 15.19 lakh for the Creative + S trim, Rs 16.19 lakh for the Accomplished S trim and Rs 17.69 lakh for the Accomplished + A trim.

Furthermore, the Curvv presents automatic transmission options, and they are the Revotron Turbo Petrol DCA which starts from a price of Rs 12.49 lakh, the Hyperion GDi DCA which starts at Rs 16.49 lakh, and the Kryojet Diesel DCA, which starts from price of Rs 13.99 lakh.

Features and Specifications:

  • First of all, the dimensions of the new Tata Curvv ICE are 4,308 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,630 mm in height.
  • The vehicle is based on a new ATLAS (Adaptive Tech-forward Lifestyle Architecture) platform developed by Tata, which is capable of supporting both electric and ICE powertrains.
  • The vehicle features a ground clearance of 208 mm and a boot space of 500L. The boot space is expandable up to 973L when the second-row seats are folded down.
  • The design holds similarities with the Curvv EV when considered on an overall basis.
  • It includes a distinct stylish sloping roofline.
  • The Curvv ICE further includes connected LED DRLs in the front. It also includes welcome and goodbye animation along with connected LED tail lamps.
  • The vehicle further boasts a front grille with chrome accents, and vertically stacked headlamps and fog lights.
  • Flushed door handles, R18 dual-tone alloy wheels, a spoiler, a tall boot lid, shark fin antenna are other additional features.
  • The exterior makeover includes a ‘Curvv’ branding in chrome and a silver-finished faux skid plate.
  • The interior is blessed with a large 12.3-inch infotainment screen, with features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay through wireless connectivity.
  • It also has a 10.25-inch digital driver display unit, power-adjustable driver seat, and ventilated front seats in the front 2-step reclining rear seats with 60:40 split functionality.
  • The safety features that the Curvv ICE is incorporated with include Level 2 ADAS, 6 airbags, a blind spot monitoring system, lane keep assist, a 360-degree camera, an electronic parking brake, and ESP.
  • Some more additional features include a single-zone climate control, wireless charging pad, a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, keyless entry, push-button start, premium audio system by Harman, front and rear armrests, rear AC vents, etc.
  • In terms of engine power, the 1.2L turbo petrol makes 118 hp power and 170 Nm torque, the 1.2L GDi can make 123 hp power and 225 Nm torque and the diesel engine offers up to 113 hp power and 260 Nm torque.

Last but not least, the Gearbox of the Curvv ICE includes a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox. They offer 3 drive modes Eco, City, and Sport.
