The entry-level Live trim of Citroen’s C3 has a starting price of Rs 5.71 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. Since Citroen’s second vehicle for the Indian market was introduced a few months ago, the anticipation around their first mass-market vehicle has been intense. The C3 will be offered in two grades and two powertrain options overall. The standard Live trim and the top-of-the-line Feel trim will only be available on the 1.2-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine. The 1.2-liter turbo engine costs Rs. 8.06 lakh and is only offered with the Feel trim, which is the top of the line (ex-showroom).

When it comes to available engines, the 1.2-liter three-pot naturally aspirated petrol produces 83 bhp and 115 Nm and is paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. While the 1.2 litre forced induction engine, which produces 110 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque, comes with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Although it is not currently available, an automatic transmission option will probably be added to the roster in the near future.
The Tata Punch, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Suzuki Ignis, as well as B-segment hatchbacks like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Hyundai i20, are just a few of the elevated hatches that the C3 will now compete against.
