The Auction of the XUV400 Exclusive Edition Crosses 1 Crore: Here’s More About it

The leading SUV manufacturer of India, Mahindra has started the auction for its Exclusive Edition XUV400 electric car and the bidding crosses 1 crore in less than an hour.

The Exclusive Edition XUV400

The bidding for the Exclusive Edition XUV400 has started today, on the 26th of January 2023 at 11 am and will be active till midnight of the 31st of January 2023. In just 21 minutes, the bidding crosses 1 crore with still five days more to go.

The Exclusive Edition of the XUV400 is designed by Pratap Bose, the Chief Design Officer at Mahindra Groups along with the award-winning fashion designer, Rimzim Dadu.

The car will feature Rimzim Dadu-inspired blue colour body along with a dual-tone copper roof and piano black alloy wheels.

The seats are Rimzim Dadu X Bose Copper branded leather seats with copper stitching and blue colour inserts along with seatbelts featuring Rimzim Dadu’s signature blue colour.

It will also include Rimzim Dadu’s signature wire blue coloured cushions, a duffle bag, and detachable sleek pockets. The car also includes Rimzim Dadu X Bose Copper branded armrest and floor mats.

The standard edition of the XUV400 has two models – EC and EL.

The XUV400 EC is equipped with a 34.5 kWh battery pack and will give its users a range of upto 375 Km and the XUV400 EL comes with a 39.4 kWh battery and offers its users a range of upto 456 Km. The XUV400 Exclusive Edition might be based on the EL model.

The winning bidder will be given the prize by the Chairman of Mahindra, Mr Anand Mahindra on the 10th of February, 2023 in Hyderabad. The winner will also be gifted an exclusive inaugural pass to the all-electric FIA Formula E championship which is to be conducted on the 11th of February in Hyderabad.

The money collected from the auction will be donated either to support the winners of the Mahindra Rise Sustainability Champion Awards or to an NGO of the winning bidder’s choice.

Here’s How to Participate

Register and pay a caution deposit of Rs. 10,000 inorder to participate in the auction. The registered participants will be able to bid from the 26th of January to the 31st of January, 2023 till midnight.

The caution deposit will be returned to the participants if he or she doesn’t win the auction. The initial starting amount of the bidding was 25 lakhs and has now crossed Rs. 1 crore.
