The Latest BYD Seal EV Gets Listed on the Brand’s Official Indian Website: Here’s More About it

The Chinese electric car manufacturers, BYD has listed its BYD SEAL electric sedan on its official Indian website indicating the imminent launch of the car in India.

Now alongside the BYD ATTO 3 and the BYD e6 electric, the official Indian website of the Chinese electric car manufacturers, BYD has listed its latest BYD SEAL EV which was showcased at the Auto Expo of 2023.

From what is available from the website, the BYD Seal electric will have a single charge range of upto 700km and the top variants will have a 0 – 100 kmph acceleration of 3.8 seconds.

Speaking of the design, the BYD Seal has a 3 box design with a slopping roof. The car also has stylish alloy wheels along with sharp creases on its sides and a 50:50 weight distribution both on the front and back wheels..

In the interior, the first thing one will notice is the large touch screen on the center and the instrument screen placed just above the steering wheel. The car also has seats with quilted patterns and side extensions to give proper back support to its passengers.

The EV also features a large glass roof which is separated from the windscreen unlike the cars made by Tesla. However the glass roofs are fixed and doesn’t open.

The car also has flush door handles similar to the Tesla cars along with LED tail light and headlamps resembling the Porsche Taycan.

The BYD Seal will also have two engine models. The RWD(Reverse Wheel Drive) model will have a maximum power of 204 bhp whereas the AWD(All Wheel Drive) model will have a maximum power of 530 bhp. The EV is also expected to be equipped with a battery ranging between 61.4 kWh and 82.5 kWh to assure the 700 km single charge range.

The details about the price of the car or when it will be launched hasn’t been given on the website yet, but from the listing itself it is clear that the car will launch soon in the Indian market.
