Toyota Hyryder compact SUV VS Hyundai Creta, Which one you should buy

In India, Toyota has officially debuted the Urban Cruiser Hyryder small SUV. Prices range from Rs. 15,11,00,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) up to Rs. 18,99,00,000 for the top-end trim. The Toyota Hyryder is only available in four trim levels: one for the petrol mild hybrid, which also has all-wheel drive, and three for the strong hybrid, all of which come standard with a CVT automatic gearbox. The Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, and Nissan Kicks are just a few of the competitors the Toyota Hyryder faces.

The Toyota Hyryder is the first strong-hybrid car in its class.

Given that the Hyryder Strong Hybrid is stated to have a claimed fuel efficiency of about 28 Kmpl, which is diesel-like, the Hyryder needs to be primarily compared with diesel automatic models of competing SUVs! When seen from that perspective, the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder’s price appears to be pretty reasonable considering that the best-selling Hyundai Creta Diesel Automatic starts at Rs. 18.09 lakh.

Here is the pricing for the Toyota Hyryder 1.5 Strong Hybrid eCVT, broken down by version.

S Trim: 15.11 lakh rupees
1.5 Mild Hybrid Manual AWD G Trim: Rs. 17.49 lakh V Trim: Rs. 18.99 lakh

V Trim: 17.09 lakh rupees
Three market-first features are present in the Toyota Hyryder, all of which are anticipated to be significant sales drivers.

The SUV is a robust hybrid that combines gasoline and electricity to produce fuel efficiency similar to that of a diesel engine and an incredibly convenient driving experience (thanks to the CVT automatic).
Up to 25 kilometers of short distance can be covered by the SUV in all-electric mode.
The mild hybrid manual grade of the SUV receives an all-wheel-drive arrangement, making it the most competent compact SUV available for purchase in India.

The Toyota Hyryder has 17-inch alloy wheels, 6 airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, ESP, traction control, and hill-hold assist, as well as a panoramic sunroof, 360-degree camera, wireless charger, a full digital instrument cluster, ventilated seats, head-up display, connected car technology, and voice assistance with Google and Siri compatibility. It also has a tyre pressure monitoring system, speed alerts, seat belt reminder warnings, and 3- While the battery pack of the powerful hybrid system comes with an 8 year/160,000 km warranty, a 3 year/100,000 km warranty is common.
