Volkswagen Taigun 1.0L set new SUV records by putting up a thrilling endurance for 24 hours in the NATRAX India tests
The Volkswagen Taigun 1.0L recently participated in the NATRAX (National Automotive Test Tracks) India, which was organised in Pithampur Madhya Pradesh.
The Volkswagen Taigun 1.0 and other Volkswagen machines drove for 24 hours to test their endurance. Volkswagen achieved new milestones during this test and set new SUV records in maximum distance covered and best fuel efficiency by enduring for 24 hours.

The Volkswagen team began the tests on February 17, 2024, at 2:00 PM and it concluded on February 18, 2024 at 2:00 PM.
NATRAX India conducted the test at their 11.3 km long high-speed test tracks. Volkswagen valiant machines covered the 11.3 km track at high speeds, at 194 kmph on average. Meantime, Volkswagen’s Taigun 1.0 sped across the tracks, while maintaining 55kmph of speed. This analysed the fuel efficiency of Volkswagen’s state-of-the-art, TSI engines.
Team Volkswagen India conquered the tests and bagged several new records at the NATRAX. Volkswagen Taigun 1.0, a mid-sized SUV, was driven across the 11.3 km long track. It created a new record for the maximum distance covered as a mid-sized SUV (4423.48 Km) in 24 hours. They achieved a 29.8 kmpl of maximum fuel efficiency during the test. The vehicle was stopped only while refueling and driver changes.
Along with this, the Volkswagen Virtus GT 1.5 l TSI EVO also set a record for maximum distance covered in 24 hours in the overall test and also as a sedan vehicle.
