Xiaomi’s MS11 Electric Car Allegedly Spotted Being Tested in China: Two Officials Onboard
MS11, Xiaomi’s upcoming electric car, has been spotted undergoing testing in Xinjiang, China. Two Xiaomi officials, Lei Jun, and Lu Weibing, were seen onboard. It is likely that Xiaomi may launch its electric car by the mid-half of next year.

Xiaomi’s Upcoming MS11 Electric Car Allegedly Spotted
Xiaomi first announced its MS11 electric car two years back, in late March 2021, and in the month of September of the same year, the company’s electric car wing was formed, as per what reports say. Its very first electric car, the MS11, was part of many previous reports and some of the renders of the upcoming EV have already been published online.
Now that Xiaomi’s EV has reportedly been spotted on Chinese roads in Xinjiang, some more details of the EV are made available to us. To add, MS11 was spotted in an extremely camouflaged state but, even if this is the case, the design language of the car seemingly aligns with the renders that have already been published online.
The Chinese manufacturer is said to launch two versions of the EV, one with LiDAR and the other without it, and now, it has been revealed that the EV has a center console that will have sharp edges, along with yellow calipers.
Reports are also pointing out that at least four EVs from Xiaomi have allegedly been spotted and two Xiaomi officials, including the Xiaomi China CEO – Lei Jun, were seen to have been in the cars that were being tested. To add more claim to this, both the officials – Lei Jun and Lu Weibing, posted on the Weibo platform from the same location where Xiaomi’s MS11 was being tested and Lei Jun, Xiaomi CEO’s post shows us the testing team.
It is likely that Xiaomi might unveil its MS11 electric car in China in the first quarter of 2024 and if all goes well, the brand will probably launch the company’s very first EV by the mid-half of next year.
