10club has acquired three lawn and garden e-commerce businesses

10club, an e-commerce roll-up company, announced on Friday that it had purchased three e-commerce enterprises in the lawn and garden area for an undisclosed sum.

Kraftseeds, Gate Garden, and Kriti Kalash are the companies that have been acquired. With these acquisitions, 10club hopes to generate $50 million in yearly revenue. Employees from all three companies will join 10club, bringing the total number of employees to 400, up from 48 at the moment.

“We are highly positive on the home category, and the acquisition of three excellent lawn and garden brands provides us a strong foothold, complementing the six other acquisitions that we will announce shortly.”

In a statement, 10club co-founder and COO Deepak Nair said, “With these acquisitions, we will be generating a revenue of over $50 million in the home sector alone.”

Earlier this year, 10club secured $40 million in a seed round that included HeyDay, PDS International, and Class 5 Global, among others.

Seeds, soil, flower bulbs, manure, planters, tools, and any other form of equipment a client would require for their home gardening needs are all covered by the three businesses bought by 10club.

According to 10club, the lawn and garden segment experienced an unprecedented surge during the pandemic, as people stayed at home and looked for ways to freshen up their homes while cultivating hobbies that relieve stress and improve their homes, and the company believes that this trend will continue.

According to the company’s calculations, the current category size is over $900 million, with less than 10% internet penetration and a year-over-year growth rate of more than 70%.
