Akasa Air unveiled its aircraft livery and tagline
Investor Rakesh Jhunjhunwala’s airline Akasa Air on Wednesday discloses its tagline ‘It’s Your Sky’and aircraft uniform that corresponded of‘ rising A’ symbol in orange and purple colour.
The airline has chosen the tagline’Its Your Sky’, which it says” sums up an inclusive brand experience by reminding us that the sky embraces everyone. it symbolises an important pledge of power, oath, and possibilities that accompany each tourist on their travels, regardless of their socio-economic or cultural backgrounds.
Inspired by essentials from the sky, the aircraft uniform will have a ‘A’ symbolising on it purple and orange colour with the warmth of the rising sun, the royal flight of a bird and the responsibility of an aircraft wing.
The airline hopes to start operations by summer of 2022. The airline had last month placed an order with US-based aircraft manufacturer Boeing for 72 ‘737 Max’ planes.
In October, the airline had received aviation ministry’s no objection certificate (NOC) which made it eligible to apply for air operation permit from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA).
Akasa Air is claiming to start a veritably low cost (ultra low cost) flight service in the country. There’s fierce competition in the aviation sector of India in which numerous small and big companies are furnishing their service. Akasa would also be one of them. At present, the Indian aviation sector is dominated by Indigo airline of Inter Globe Aviation Limited.
