Apple is All Set to Launch its Very First Retail Store in India, in Mumbai

After the long wait of two years, Apple is finally going to open its first retail store in India. Apple’s new retail store, “Apple BKC” will be located in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex and will be opened in Jio World Drive.

Apple has been planning on setting up a retail store in India from 2021 onwards and due to several reasons including the pandemic wasn’t able to do so and now overcoming all the past hardships and hurdles, the Cupertino based company is going to open its very first retail store in Mumbai, India.

Apple’s first retail store which is being called “Apple BKC” will be located in Mumbai’s Bandra Kurla Complex which is popularly called as “BKC”, and will be opened in Jio World Drive. The store’s design is inspired from the Kaali Peeli taxi art that is unique to Mumbai, and includes the greeting “Welcome Mumbai”, Apple’s classic greeting style.

The store will offer many services to its visitors like trade in facility for eligible devices with instant credit that can be used for their next purchase. Customers will also be able to book their device online and pick it up directly from the store. For each purchase, customers will also receive Apple’s gift cards as well.

Customers will also be able to get expert help and support from Apple’s Genius Bar and even talk with an Apple specialist before making their purchase. Even if Apple has many authorized dealers in India, many configuration facilities are not available there. Visiting Apple’s retail store, customers will be able to configure and customize their new devices accordingly.

Apple has been seeing India as one of its potential markets and even with the hike in price in the iPhone 13 and 14 series smartphones, there was a double digit growth in its sales in India. Apple has also already started manufacturing their devices in India considering its market growth.

Apple BKC will be opened in the month of April itself and from what is now known, the company is soon planning to setup its second retail store in Delhi. As part of the celebration, Apple users can download the new Apple BKC wallpapers and listen to a specially curated list of songs on Apple Music.
