According to sources, the company has also fired some of its employees, terminating their service, though the company has denied these claims. BharatPe says -“The board has not terminated employee’s service at this point”, sources reported. The company board will remain dependent on an independent and thorough audit process that it has assigned to the firm and advisory. There has been no action taken yet or there will be no action taken till the completion of the audit,” the company said in a statement, as per sources.
Also, the company does not want to highlight this issue in media as there has been no conclusion to the case yet.
Controversies about BharatPe Co-founder Ashneer Grover have been initiated at BharatPe ever since the emergence of an audio clip in which Grover is heard threatening an employee of Kotak Wealth Management over the failure to secure financing for Nykaa’s initial share sale, reported in the sources.
Queries are raised about the reality purchases made by Ashneer Grover over the buying of two houses around Rs. 20 to Rs. 30 crores each, in 2021. It became unclear how he managed to purchases made for these houses, reported.
