Coca-Cola buying Full Control of BodyArmor for $5.6 Billion

Coca-Cola Co. has decided to buy complete control of American Sports drink brand BodyArmor for $5.6 billion. The amount will be paid in cash which will lead to increment in the value of the brand.

As we all know, Coca- Cola Company is a multi-national beverage corporation works on nonalcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups and also alcoholic beverages. It is mainly known because of its famous cold drink Coca-Cola. It owns about 30% shares of BodyArmor and has announced to buy the other 70% from mainly athletes who are shareholders.

The deal will be confirmed on Monday which will make this deal the biggest acquisition for Coca-Cola. It will allow Coca-Cola to achieve a reasonable amount of shares in the sports drink market. It is a big step taken by Coca-Cola to compete with the market leader Gatorade.
