David Card, Joshua Angrist, and Guido Imbens were awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics in 2021
On Monday, David Card received half of the Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences, while Joshua D Angrist and Guido W Imbens shared the other half.
The prize, officially known as the Sveriges Riksbank Prize in Economic Sciences in Memory of Alfred Nobel, concludes a week of Nobel Prizes. It has been given 52 times since its inception in 1969, and is now largely regarded as one of the Nobel prizes.
