To the Social media users’ reaction, Zomato founder shared a detailed process on Twitter,
He said that this “10-minute delivery” will be in action because of the “deep collaboration” with restaurants. He further added that Zomato Instant will be launched in Gurgaon next month with four stations and in each station, there will be 25-30 bestsellers from the Partner Restaurants which is based on Predictability and the items of 10 Minute delivery include “bread omelette, Poha, coffee, chai, Biryani and Momos.”
Goyal tweeted that the delivery partner’s safety will not be compromised; the company will not penalise delivery agents for late deliveries and will not give incentives for on-time deliveries; and that the plan will be as safe for delivery agents as the existing 30-minutes delivery plan.
One of Goyal’s Interviews said, ” He started feeling that the 30-minute average delivery time by Zomato is too slow, and will soon have to become obsolete.” further added.”If we don’t make it obsolete, someone else will.”
