Elon Musk posts relatable tweet on societal image
Elon Musk has been the centre of numerous controversies and the cause of multiple market fluctuations. His immense popularity must be tough to handle, and in his humorous style, he put out the same on Twitter today evening. He posted an image stating:
Society: Be yourself.
Society: No. Not like that.
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) January 25, 2022
The content is extremely relatable, as all of us struggle to deal with society’s perception of who we are and how we conduct ourselves. Musk was recently criticized by Kurt Eichenwald for being named Time magazine’s Person the Year. Musk has been criticized for his attitude towards tax, opposition to unions and lax behaviour towards Covid protocol. U.S Senator Elizabeth Warren tweeted that the tax code needed reform so that ‘the Person of the Year will actually pay taxes and stop freeloading off everyone else.’
The Tesla CEO is synonymous with controversy, despite ironically denouncing the same on Twitter a week ago. The recent headlines are Tesla’s countersuit against J P Morgan, involving again, his tweets on securing funds to make the automobile company private.
The SpaceX billionaire is known for his humour and interactions on social media, especially on Twitter. Some experts say it is the best form of advertising for his companies, as it draws instant attention globally. Tesla, his super-electric car manufacturer, is expected to announce its record-breaking quarterly revenue on Wednesday. Investors are intrigued by Tesla’s scaling up of productions at two new factories with supply chain constraints. The launch of the Cybertruck is being anticipated, along with rumours of a $25,000 electric car.
