Ericsson Secures Multi-Year 4G & 5G Extension Deal with Bharti Airtel in India
Ericsson has been awarded a multi-year, multi-billion extension deal by Bharti Airtel to provide 4G and 5G RAN products and solutions for its India operations. The agreement includes the deployment of centralized RAN and Open RAN-ready solutions to enhance network coverage and capacity.
As part of the contract, Ericsson will upgrade the software of currently deployed 4G radios to improve customer experience.
