Four New Apple Stores Will Be Launched In India; iPhone 16 Pro And Pro Max Assembly Started In India
Back in 2023, Apple opened its first two retail stores in the Indian market in Delhi and Mumbai and Apple now has good news for all the Apple fans in India. Four new retail Apple stores will be open in India in Pune, Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, and Mumbai.
Commenting on this upcoming expansion, Deirdre O’Brien, Apple’s Senior Vice President of Retail said,” We’re thrilled to build our teams as we plan to open more stores in India because we’re inspired by the creativity and passion of our customers across this country. We can’t wait for them to have even more opportunities to discover and shop for our amazing products and services, and connect with our extraordinary, knowledgeable team members.”
It is also revealed that iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max assembly has now started in India and these Indian variants will be available for local customers and for export to select countries across the world.
This is not all, Apple has also announced that the full lineup of its latest iPhone 16 series that includes- iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be made in India. Previously Apple only manufactured older iPhone models in India but the company has now decided to make this huge shift by manufacturing their latest and most premium devices in the country.
