Google is in panic by the Samsung’s consideration to bring Bing for Galaxy
Samsung is reportedly leaning towards AI-powered Microsoft Bing Engine and might even look for it as the default search engine in place of Google in its Galaxy smartphone and tabs. This must be shocking to you but Google’s reaction was also no less “panic” to this. The New York Times reviewed internal messages thus revealing Google’s panic response to this threat. When almost $3 billion in annual revenue from Samsung is at stake for Google, panic turns out to be the requirement of the condition. It won’t be so hard to predict what is reportedly making Samsung ponder over this idea. It’s obviously Microsoft Bing’s AI integration but still, there can be some other unknown reasons.
Bing’s intelligence somewhere pressured Google to bring something similar and it came with the AI chatbot Bard in hurry. Google is working hard to keep the ties strong by signing new contracts with Samsung and working on projects like MAGI and GIFI.
Google is working on MAGI which will offer users a more personalized experience than the current one. The GIFI on the other hand is being developed by Google to take over the Bing AI Image Generator. There are some reports that say that Google is in a hurry to bring GIFI and MAGI so that it can hold the market for itself. It would be interesting to see whether Google would be able to hold the market or not with these ambitious service launches.
