Haldiram Urdu Controversy is trending on twitter with call of boycott, here is why
According to a Twitter post, one news anchor has seen reasoning with the Haldiram store manager. In the video, it’s shown that the news anchor is seen asking why there is Urdu written on the package. The package in question is of a Falhari mixture.
The staff is then seen giving reasons as to why the Urdu is written on the package. However, this is the month of Navratri, which is a Hindu festival that spans over nine nights and is celebrated every year in the autumn season. It is observed for different reasons and celebrated differently in various parts of the Hindu Indian cultural sphere. Theoretically, there are four seasonal Navaratri.

Twitter users have already started trending it by asking questions from Haldiram. That is why a mixture that is used by Hindus during their fast has something written in Urdu. Some even went ahead and said is it for a particular community or a halal.
This is sparked anger from users who eat at Haldirams. While some are praising the Store manager for handling the situation very well. At the end of the video, it’s seen that the police were called in. The store manager in question had then asked the reporter to leave the premise of Haldiram.
