Indian Rupee now drops to record low of ₹79 to a dollar

On June 29, Indian Rupee falls 11 paise against USD in opening trade on Wednesday. Now USD will count as 78.86 Rupees, which is considered as the lowest in the records.

However, on Tuesday, the rupee leaped by 48 paise against USD. Meanwhile, during an opening trade on Wednesday, the rupee was pushed down by foreign capital outflows.

Moreover, the Senior Research Analyst at Reliance Securities says, ‘The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) could be present to curb volatility, but the strength of crude oil could cap appreciation bias’.

So far, the rupee has fallen with 1 rupee difference against USD and has wasted a mind blowing 6.28 percent since the 2022 start.

Additionally, Global oil benchmark Brent crude futures dropped 0.88 Percent to US Dollars 116.94 per barrel. Also, the dollar index which measures the greenbacks strength against six currencies was trading 0.08 percent lower at 104.42.

Moreover, the 30-share Sensex was trading 474.05 points or 0.89 per cent lower at 52,703.40 in the domestic equity market front. Whereas, the broad NSE Nifty declined 137.75 points or 0.87 per cent to 15,712.45

Additionally, Foreign investors were net sellers in the capital market on Tuesday as they offered shares worth Rs 1,244.44 crore, as per stock exchange data.
