KV Kamath appointment as the New Senior Advisor of KKR India

Global Investment firm KKR has appointed KV Kamath as the Senior Advisor to KKR India. One of the pioneers of Indian modern financial services sector is expected to work efficiently.

KV Kamath was the first President of the New Development Bank established by BRICS nations as a multilateral Development bank.He also served ad the Chairman of ICICI Bank and Infosys Limited. He started his career in ICICI Project Finance Division in 1971 and helped it to reach new heights. Then later in 1996, he became the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at ICICI.

He was also a Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos. Moreover, he is recognized as one of the India’s most distinguished business leaders by global and Indian media. Along with this, he was also awarded with the one of the highest civilian honour of India, Padma Bhushan in 2008.

The appointment of KV Kamath is a major milestone for KKR India. In 2021 the firm has also made major investments for growth and now they will be handled by the new Senior Advisor.
