Linda Yaccarino, the Chairman of Global Advertising and Partnerships at NBCU is currently in talks to become the next CEO of Twitter after Elon Musk.
Here’s more about it.
Linda Yaccarino to be the CEO of Twitter?
Followed by Elon Musk’s tweet claiming that he has found a new CEO for Twitter, stating that she will be starting her position as the next CEO in just 6 weeks, rumors and claims regarding the person who will be entitled to the position have started going on all around the internet, with Linda Yaccarino as the most possible candidate for the position.
Linda is currently working at NBCU as the Chairman, of Global Advertising and Partnerships and has a good track record in terms of her experiences. She has been in the council of President Donald Trump, on sports, fitness, and nutrition and is the Chairman of the WEF’s Taskforce on the Future of Work. She is also the Global Chair of YMU and the Board chair of the Ad Council. As the head of NBCU’s advertising sales, Linda has also served a very significant role in the launch of the Peacock streaming service.
All these factors have given Linda a great possibility of acquiring the position as the CEO of Twitter and in a BBC interview held on the 11th of April, Musk also mentioned how difficult it is to find a person willing and capable of performing the role as the CEO of Twitter and how he jumped into Linda a week later in Miami, Florida.
The Venture Capitalist, Shivon Zilis is also on the list of possible candidates as per guesses, but still Linda holds a greater chance of getting the position as her experience would aid her in performing the tasks. It is also to be noted that Linda is also a strong supporter of Elon Musk’s freedom of speech, again giving Linda an upper hand in receiving the position.
