Maggi raises its price by Rs 2, now costs Rs14

There is some good news for all Maggi fans. Nestle India has decided to raise the price of Maggi noodles due to cost increases. According to media sources, a 70-gram pack of Maggi now costs Rs 14, which is Rs 2 more than the previous price of Rs 12. Nestle India claims that the price increase is due to an increase in manufacturing expenses. The revised prices went into effect on Monday, March 14, 2022. The firm has agreed to hike the price of Maggi noodles by 9% to 16%. A 140-gram magi pack’s price has also been hiked by Rs 3 for each pack. In addition, the 560-gram pack of Maggi will now cost Rs 105, a Rs 9 increase from the previous price of Rs 96.

Price of Nestle India Shares

According to bseindia.com, the company’s shares gained by Rs 54, or 0.31 per cent, on Monday. Nestle India’s stock is now worth Rs 17,376.95 per share. One share was worth Rs 17,844 on March 2, 2022.

Maggi isn’t the only product that’s suffered a price increase. Its well-known coffee, Nescafe, will likewise be more expensive. A 50-gram pack of Nescafe will now cost Rs 150, up from Rs 145 before. The price of a 25-gram pack of Nescafe has risen by 2.5%.

In addition, Nestle has doubled the price of its milk powder. A one-litre pack of Nestle A-plus milk will now cost Rs 78, up from Rs 75 before.
