“Manager will be asked to resign”, Elon Musk threatened Tesla employees in leaked email

The CEO of the electric vehicles company Tesla, Elon Musk has alleged all the managers of the firms that they will have to ‘resign immediately’ if they fail to execute his orders without giving a valid reason.

The two emails were sent to “everybody” at Tesla by the tech billionaire on 4th of October this year. Musk’s first email discussed about factory employees using music to soothe them during work. He said that he supports “any little touched that make work more enjoyable” and further said that it will be allowed until workers have one earbud out for safety reasons.

It further said, “If there are other things that you think would improve your day, please let me know. I care very much that you look forward to coming to work every day!”

The other email explained what the managers are supposed to do when they receive any direct orders from Musk. The email reads: “If an email is sent from me with explicit directions, there are only three actions allowed by managers:

1. Email me back to say why what I said was incorrect. Sometimes, I’m just plain wrong!

2. Request further clarification if what I said was ambiguous.

3. Execute the directions.”

It further stated, “If none of the above are done, that manager will be asked to resign.”

The emails were leaked at the same time when the company announced achieving a delivery record of 241,300 vehicles during the third quarter of 2021 and moreover the “Full Self Driving Beta” was introduced but put on hold due to safety reasons. Tesla has recently also lost a case filed by a former company employee who claimed to be racially harassed while he worked as an agency staffer.

This is not the first time emails leaked related to Musk. The richest man of the world, Elon Musk is known for his alternative corporate communication style as he openly shares his thoughts and latest news related to his firms on Twitter.
