Maruti Suzuki Q3 FY25 profit surges 16.2% YoY to ₹3,727 crore; sales up 15.6% at ₹36,805 crore

Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL) has announced its consolidated financial results for the third quarter (Q3) of the fiscal year 2024-25, showcasing a strong 15.4% year-on-year (YoY) growth in revenue from sales. The company’s total revenue surged to ₹36,805 crore, up from ₹31,845 crore in Q3 FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) basis, revenue from sales saw a 16.4% increase from ₹31,587 crore in Q2 FY25.
The company’s consolidated net profit for Q3 FY25 stood at ₹3,726 crore, marking a 16.2% YoY rise from ₹3,207 crore in the same period last year. Sequentially, net profit grew by 20.1% from ₹3,103 crore in Q2 FY25.
For the nine-month period spanning April to December 2024, Maruti Suzuki reported total revenue of ₹1,06,268 crore and a net profit of ₹10,589 crore, reflecting consistent growth and strong profitability.
In a strategic move, the company’s board has approved the merger of Suzuki Motor Gujarat Private Limited, its wholly-owned subsidiary, with the parent company. Subject to regulatory approvals, this merger is expected to streamline operations and enhance overall operational efficiency.
