Mukesh Ambani resigns from Jio Board, Son Akash Ambani is the Chairman
Mukesh Ambani resigns from Jio Board and passed the leadership to his elder son Akash Ambani. He is the new chairman of the million-dollar company ‘Jio’.
The former CEO of Reliance Industries Mukesh Ambani resigned as the chairman of the unit. Aakash Ambani, a non-executive director was announced as the new chairman.
Additionally, Pankaj Mohan Pawar will be working as the Managing Director of the company from June 27. Moreover, Reliance industries have reached great heights since its existence.
Reliance Industries is an Indian multinational conglomerate company which is headquartered in Mumbai. It has different businesses including energy, telecommunication, mass media, textiles and natural gas.
Additionally, Reliance is one of the most successful companies in India and also the tenth largest employer in India which has over 236,000 employees.
Hence, after 65 years of constant work and dedication to Reliance, the billionaire Mukesh Ambani has stepped down from the Reliance Jio Board and transferred all the responsibilities to Akash Ambani.
