Nothing Products Receives the Red Dot Award

Nothing, the London-based tech company has always focused on creating unique and well-designed products and has by now created a huge fan base for its products in a very short period of time. What makes Nothing products special is their transparent design, which challenges all the conventional design factors and is what makes their products unique.

Now Nothing has shared the great news that the company has won three design awards at the Red Dot 2023 design competition, which is sure to enlarge its current fan base and reinforce the design quality and uniqueness of its products. Nothing products which include the Nothing Phone (1), Nothing Ear (stick) and the newly launched Nothing Ear (2) have received the award.

Nothing Phone (1)

Nothing Phone (1) is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G+ 5G (6 nm) chipset and comes pre-installed with the Android 12-based operating system. The device can now be upgraded to the Android 13 operating system and has the Nothing OS 1.5.3 custom UI along with it.

For its display, the smartphone features a 6.55″ OLED display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz.

Coming to its cameras, the smartphone has a dual camera setup at its rear with a 50MP main camera and a 50MP ultrawide camera. For selfies, the device also has a 16MP front-facing camera.

Regarding its battery backup, the Nothing Phone (1) comes equipped with a 4500 mAh battery which supports a wired fast charge feature of 33W and a wireless fast charge feature of 15W. It also supports a 5W reverse wireless charging feature as well.

The device is now available at a starting price of Rs. 28,999 on the Flipkart shopping website.

Nothing Ear (stick)

The Nothing Ear (stick) features an ergonomic design and is IP54 dust, sweat, and water resistant. The device comes equipped with a pair of 12.6mm custom drivers and supports Bluetooth of version 5.2.

Regarding its other features, Nothing Ear (stick) has a bass lock technology to prevent bass lock and offers its users a customizable equalizer setting. The device also supports fast pairing.

The Nothing Ear (stick) will offer its users a total battery life of upto 29 hours which is enough to get them through the day.

The product has now been listed both on Flipkart and Myntra at Rs. 8,499 from its actual list price of Rs. 9,999.

Nothing Ear (2)

The newly launched Nothing Ear (2) features an 11.6mm dynamic driver and supports a noise cancellation feature of up to 40. It is also equipped with three microphones on each earbud and supports Bluetooth connectivity of version 5.3.

Coming to its battery life, while the ANC feature is turned off, the device will offer its users a battery life of upto 6.3 hours which can be expanded to upto 36 hours. When the ANC feature is turned on, the battery life will be reduced to 4 hours which can be expanded to upto 22.5 hours with the charging case.
