Paytm’s Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Oyo’s Ritesh Agarwal to meet parliamentary panel over tech firms competition issues

In light of growing anti-competition concerns, top executives from eight domestic tech companies, including Paytm founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma and Oyo founder Ritesh Agarwal, will testify before a significant parliamentary panel on Thursday. They will discuss the market behaviour of technology platforms.

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on Finance, which is led by former Union minister and BJP leader Jayant Sinha, has been investigating several elements of market competition, particularly with regard to technological giants.
