Redmi K70 series sales surpassed 2 million units in 60 days in China

The smartphone brand Redmi officially introduced its latest Redmi K70 series in its home country China last year in the month of November. This latest series received an immensely great response from Chinese consumers as its sales volume exceeded 6,00,000 units within 5 minutes of its first sale while 1 million units of the Redmi K70 series were sold in just 14 days.

Today it has been officially revealed on the Weibo platform that the sales of the Redmi K70 series have surpassed 2 million units in 60 days in the Chinese market.

The series includes three smartphones- Redmi K70, Redmi K70 Pro and Redmi K70e. Let’s take a look at the specifications of these devices.

Redmi K70 series: Specifications

Redmi K70 and K70 Pro

Both of the smartphones feature a 6.67-inch wide 2K OLED 12-bit TCL CSOT C8 display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, 3840 Hz PWM dimming, and 4000 nits of peak brightness. Both the devices run on Hyper OS based on Android 14.

The Pro model is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with Adreno GPU. If we talk about the camera section, the Pro model of the series features a 50 MP Light Hunter 800 primary sensor with OIS support, a 12 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 50 MP 2x portrait lens. For selfies, it comes with a 16 MP selfie camera.

Redmi K70 is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It comes with a 50 MP Light Hunter 800 primary sensor, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2 MP macro lens. The front side of the handset sports a 16 MP selfie camera. Coming on to the battery section the handsets are backed by 5000 mAh battery with 120 W fast charging support. It is also equipped with the Surge G1 battery management chip.

Additionally, the handsets are equipped with in display fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor for haptics, and an IR blaster.

Redmi K70e

It comes with a 6.67-inch wide 1.5K OLED 12-bit display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and 1800 nits of peak brightness with a tiny punch hole cutout to house the selfie camera. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8300 Ultra chipset paired with up to 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.

The device runs on Android 14-based HyperOS custom skin. In the camera section, it features a 64 MP primary camera with OIS support and LED flash, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens, and a 2 MP macro sensor. The front side of the smartphone sports a 16 MP selfie camera.

It is backed by a 5,500 mAh battery that supports 90W fast wired charging. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a USB Type-C port for charging and data sync. Additionally, it is equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security, and Dolby Atmos tuned stereo speakers.
