Samsung S23 Series Smartphones Receives 1,40,000 Orders in a Single Day in India

Samsung confirms that its S23 series sales in India received 1,40,000 orders in a single day even after a price hike of about Rs 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 from its previous models.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Series

Samsung launched its Galaxy S23 series smartphones on the 1st of February, 2023 and the pre-orders of the smartphones started from the next day onwards, on the 2nd of February 2023.

The Galaxy S23 series included the Galaxy S23, the Galaxy S23 Plus, and the Galaxy S23 Ultra smartphones with the Galaxy S23 Ultra being the high-end model of the series.

Now according to a recent Twitter post, Samsung has confirmed that its Galaxy S23 series received 1,40,000 orders on the first day itself which is worth upto Rs 1,400 crores.

Also “We have clocked almost 1.4 lakh units as pre-book in the first 24 hours and this is almost two times of Galaxy S22. With an average price of about a lakh of rupees, the turnover on a free book is almost ₹1,400 crore within 24 hours,” Samsung India, Senior Vice President for Mobile Business, Raju Pullan said to PTI.

The price of the smartphones in the Galaxy S23 series ranges from Rs. 75,000 to Rs. 1,54,999.
