Telangana Minister KTR invites Elon Musk to set up a shop in his state
After a recent tweet made by Tesla’s CEO Elon Musk stating that he is facing a lot of challenges with the Indian Government, Telangana’s Minister responds to it. KT Rama Rao (KTR), Telangana’s Industry and Commerce Minister in a tweet invites Musk to set up a shop in his state.

He tweets,” Hey Elon, I am the Industry & Commerce Minister of Telangana state in India. Will be happy to partner Tesla in working through the challenges to set shop in India/Telangana. Our state is a champion in sustainability initiatives & a top notch business destination in India.”
On January 14, Musk made a tweet regarding the problems Tesla is facing in launching its electric vehicles (EVs) in India. Musk wants government to standardize the import tariffs on electric vehicles .It must be noted that currently, the government levies 100 percent import duties on Tesla’s EVs priced above $40,000.
