Tim Cook is all set with the Apple welcoming team at Apple BKC store to welcome first set of customers

Tim Cook Apple’s CEO after following a series of events which included meeting Mukesh Ambani, eating Vada Pav with Madhuri Dixit, and meeting the Apple BKC store welcoming team is all set for today’s event. This event is about the opening of Apple’s first retail store in India on April 18, 11 AM. Apple BKC store will welcome its first set of customers with special perks and offers and Tim Cook will also be there with the welcoming team.

He confirmed this in his last Tweet in which he wrote” Hello, Mumbai! We can’t wait to welcome our customers to the new Apple BKC tomorrow,”. Apple in a closed media-only event informed that it has 100 employees at the BKC store in Mumbai who can speak 20 foreign languages and 50% of the staff is women. On top of it, the store will fulfill its demand for electricity through solar power which makes it a carbon-neutral store.

The presence of the CEO of Apple for the launch of this store reflects the importance of India for Apple. Apple will open its second store in Select City Walk Mall, Saket, New Delhi through the presence of Tim is not yet confirmed. Customers who visit the store will get a chance to experience Apple products, interact with the experts, and customize their device’s configuration. It can also be a point for users to exchange their old product or recycle it. This year would be Apple’s 25th year in India and over the years sales are going up. It might look forward to opening some the stores like this in India.
