Xiaomi India Head, Raghu Reddy Resigns: Recent Hussle and Tussle with the Government Said to be the Reason

The Xiaomi India Head, Raghu Reddy resigns to pursue other opportunities outside the company. However Reddy has resigned from his position while Xiaomi is going through a really hard time.

Xiaomi at present has received a seizure order of its Rs 5,500 crore worth of bank assets and has approached the Karnataka High Court claiming that the company has done nothing wrong.

While the company is going through a hard time proving itself, Raghu Reddy, the Head of Xiaomi India has decided to resign.

Raghu Reddy had worked at Xiaomi for about 6 years sitting in various job roles and was the Head of Xiaomi India when he was resigning. He has also worked at Wipro Technologies, Ernst and Young, and Snapdeal before working at Xiaomi.

All the experiences that he gained on his way might have been what helped him to make Xiaomi the top in India’s smartphone and smart tv market.

Raghu Reddy, as per reports speaks might be resigning due to the hassles the company has had with the government. But Reddy says that he is leaving the company to pursue new opportunities.

Xiaomi has confirmed this and has also stated that Raghu Reddy had been an integral part of Xiaomi’s business in India.
