Blue Eye Samurai, American adult animated series to stream on Netflix from November 3, 2023

Now, on 3rd November 2023, the upcoming American adult animated action series, Blue Eye Samurai will be available for streaming. The series was created and written by Michael Green and Amber Noizumi, who are husband and wife. It is directed by Jane Wu. A trailer of the series was released by Netflix on YouTube on October 12, 2023, which you can check here.
Premise: The series follows the journey of Mizu, a mixed-race swordmaster who is on a quest for vengeance, against those who made her an outcast. The series is set during Japan’s’ Edo Period (17th Century).
The production companies involved in the series are Blue Spirit, J.A. Green Construction Corporation, and 3 Arts Entertainment.
Voice Cast: The cast behind the voices of the various characters includes Maya Erskine as Mizu, Masi Oka as Ringo, Darren Barnet as Taigen, Brenda Song as Princess Akemi, George Takei as Seki, Randall Park as Heiji Shindo, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa as Swordmaker, Kenneth Branagh as Abijah Fowler, Stephanie Hsu as Ise, Ming-Na Wen as Madame Kaji, Harry Shum Jr. as Takayoshi and Mark Dacascos as Chiaki.
