Cobra Kai star Mary Mouser auditioned for Lois Lane in Superman :Legacy l : Hollywood Insider Jeff Sneider
A James Gunn project named Superman: Legacy has already been in buzz because of its cast. While everyone is looking for a young, Superman kind of personality to wear the cape and save humans, the iconic role of Lois Lane has come to notice. Hollywood Insider Jeff Sneider during the latest episode of Hot Mic Podcast revealed that Cobra Kai star Mary Mouser has auditioned for the role of Lois Lane.
Her role as Samantha LaRusso in the popular series Cobra Kai gave her widespread recognition in the industry. She has also worked in some of the series like Body of Proof, Scandal, and NCIS with notable credits. She will be competing with Rachel Brosnahan, Emma Mackey, Phoebe Dynevor, and Samara Weaving for this role.
Superman: Legacy is intended to present the life of a young Superman looking for a perfect young face with a Superman-like personality. Numerous names are on the list but one close to wearing the cape is David Corenswet who is competing with Jacob Elordi, Andrew Richardson, and Nicholas Hoult. The insider Jeff Sneider didn’t look happy enough to see the non-American on the list and said: “Can we get a f**king American Superstar?”. As most of the names that are in the buzz are non-Americans and he discussed his preferences about the character.
The insider also revealed that Gunn is in talks with one of the Guardian of the Galaxy Vol. 3 stars who is none other than Bradley Cooper for the role of villain Lex Luthor.
