First poster of Heartstopper Season 2 released, series to release on Netflix on August 3
The first poster for Heartstopper Season 2 was released today. The Season 2 of the popular queer, British coming-off-age Netflix Series is scheduled to release on 3 August 2023.
The official teaser for Season 2 was released earlier this month. The teaser featured Nick, Charlie, and the rest of the crew coming back for a class trip to Paris.
The series is based on the novel of the same name written by Alice Oseman.
Heartstopper has been deemed as one of the best series demonstrating a positive representation of young queer people.
Fans have always expressed that the series has had an appreciative impact on them in real life. It has been reported that many queer people came out after watching the show.
Netflix gained a good amount of fanbase for the show. They announced on the month of May 2022, that the series has been confirmed for a Season 2 release.
Season 2 will include Season 1’s entire cast, which includes Kiit Connor (Nick), Joe Locke (Charlie), William Gao (Tao), Tobie Donovan (Isaac), Corinna Brown (Tara), Kizzy Edgell (Darcy), Sebastian Croft (Ben), Rhea Norwood (Imogen), and Jenny Walser (Tori). Apart from this, Season 2 has seven new cast members. They are Jack Barton (David Nelson), Nima Taleghani (Mr. Farouk), Bradley Riches, (James McEwan), Bel Priestley and Ash Self as Naomi and Felix, respectively, and Thibault de Montalembert (Stephane).
