Japanese drama series, Trillion Game, TV drama adaptation of the manga of the same is now live for streaming on Netflix

Of late, Netflix has been broadening its Japanese content domain. Netflix recently renewed the thriller series “Alice in Borderland” for its third season. It has also been constantly bringing the Japanese Anime series into its platform one after another.

Today, i.e., from the 21st of October, the Japanese Drama Series, “Trillion Game” will go live for streaming on Netflix. Trillion Game is a Japanese manga series, written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Ryoichi Ikegami. The manga was serialized in Shogakukan’s seinen manga magazine Big Comic Superior on December 11, 2020, and it is still running.

A Television Drama adaptation of the same aired on Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) from July 14, 2023 to September 15, 2023. Netflix acquired the licensing rights for the same and the series is live for streaming, starting today. The TV drama series is directed by Yoshiaki Murao and written by Daisuke Habara.

Premise: Haru and Gaku, founders of a big company Trillion Game make their way into the top 10 Billionaire list of the 21st century. The series follows Gaku’s perspective, his journey, his encounter with Haru, and the establishment of Trillion Game.

The drama series features Ren Meguro, Hayato Sano, Mio Imada, Riko Fukumoto, Terunosuke Takezai, Yoshitaka Hara, Kanako Momota, Kenjiro Tsuda, Akari Akase, Tomoya Maeno, Ryousuke Sota, Takashi Tsukamoto, Kosuke Suzuki, Kimiko Yo, Koji Kikkawa, and Jun Kunimura as the main cast.

The series has 10 episodes in total.
