Japanese original net animated series, Pluto, will premiere on Netflix on 26 October, 2023
Netflix has scheduled the upcoming Japanese psychological animated series Pluto to stream from the 26th of October, 2023. The animated series, which is directed by Toshio Kawaguchi and produced by Genco and Tezuka Productions; is based on the Japanese manga series of the same name written and illustrated by Naoki Urasawa.
The Japanese manga series, Pluto was serialized in Shogakukan’s Seinen manga magazine Big Comic Original and ran from September 2003 to April 2009. A trailer for the same was released by Netflix on YouTube earlier in July 2023, which you can check here.
Now, the original net anime series is set to premiere on Netflix, this coming Thursday. The original net anime series is animated by Studio M2 (animation).
Premise: A series of deaths of robots and humans has occurred all across the globe. The commonality between the deaths is that the victims have objects shoved into their heads, in a way that it imitates horns. The series follows Gesicht, a Europol robot detective, who tries to solve this case.
Cast: The major characters have been voiced by the following cast, which includes Shinshu Fuji, Yoko Hikasa, Minori Suzuki, Hiroki Yasumoto, Koichi Yamadera, Hidenobu Kiuchi, Rikiya Koyama, Mamoru Miyano, Toshihiko Seki, Toshio Furukawa, Eizo Tsuda, Romi Park, Michio Hazama, Hideyuki Tanaka and Kenyu Horiuchi.
