Mortal Kombat 12’s release date of 2023, which will be later this year, appeared to be confirmed by Andrew Slabin, executive vice president of global investor strategy, during a Warner Bros. Discovery earnings call earlier. According to an audio tape that is making the news across social networks, this is exactly what he said:
“And there are lots more to come, including the highly anticipated Mortal Kombat 12 and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – games also set for release this year, with ambitious launch projections.”
Following this, co-creator of Mortal Kombat Ed Boon made a joke on social media by inquiring as to who had heard about a brand-new Injustice game.
The upcoming Mortal Kombat 12: Onaga’s Revenge fighting game is sometimes known as Mortal Kombat 12, Mortal Kombat 12, or Mortal Kombat XII. Warner Bros. will publish it and NetherRealm Studios will create it.
Mortal Kombat 12’s release date has not yet been revealed on any platforms. Mortal Kombat 11 was the most recent installment on the Nintendo platform, released in 2019. The “Ultimate” edition, published on Switch in 2020, came after it.
However, there have been no specifications as yet about the exact date. Though sources say it’ll be soon enough.
