Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee directorial, ‘Shastry vs Shastry’, Bollywood-drama film to be available for streaming on Netflix from 29 December 2023
Shastry vs Shastry, the new Bollywood Hindi-drama film directed by Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee will be available on the streaming platform Netflix from this Friday, 29 December 2023. The film is now listed on Netflix’s upcoming section. A ‘Remind Me’ button is now also live, which you can activate to be notified when the film goes live on the streaming platform. The film was earlier released in the theatres on November 3, 2023.

Premise: The film revolves around the emotional battle of a music teacher who tries to retain guardianship of his young grandson when the boy’s father insists on moving overseas with him.
The screenplay is written by Shiboprosad Mukherjee and Nandita Roy, while the dialogues are written by Anu Singh Choudhary.
Cast: The film features Paresh Rawal, Nina Kulkarni, Shiv Pandit, Mimi Chakraborty, Manoj Joshi, K.K. Raina, Tiku Talsania, Adinath Kothare, Amruta Subhash and Kabir Pahwa in major roles.
The film is produced under the production label Viacom18 Studios and the producers for the film are Ajit Andhare, Sunil Dolamani Panda, Raghavendra Singh, Prashant Thapliyal, Alok Tripathi, and Kevin Vaz.
